Man Killed By Falling Hay Bale
A man is dead after a hay bale fell on top of him in Lewisville Monday night.
Jefferson County spokeswoman Mikey Eames said Rick Davis, 47, went out to feed live stock around 6 p.m. at 3500 East and 430 North.
During the chore, two, one-ton bales of hay fell on top of him, Eames said. One trapped him. His family found him and called police at 7:35 p.m. Davis was pronounced dead before he could be taken to the hospital.
