3 honored for saving lives

The actions of three young men led to the lives of a man and girl being saved last summer. And the three were honored by Bonneville County Sheriff Paul Wilde on Saturday.

According to the sheriff’s office, Mike Perrott and a girl were jet skiing below the Broadway Bridge when they hit a submerged rock and were thrown toward the riverbank.

Kyle Quiroz, Eddie Fay, and James Cagle jumped into the river and helped the victims until ambulance crews arrived.

Each of the three were awarded a plaque for their actions during the ceremony at the sheriff’s office.
