Bail set at $1M for pair accused in Pocatello killing

Two men were arraigned Monday in connection with a killing in Pocatello.

Jesse Bruce, 25, is facing a charge of second-degree murder. Tyrell Dixey, 31, is facing a charge of being a principal to second-degree murder.

The defendants separately appeared in the courtroom through video.

A $1 million bond set for Bruce and Dixey, respectively. Both charges are punishable by 10 years to life in prison.

Lric Allen Elkins, 24, was killed on the 100 block of North Grant Street on Friday.

Few details have been released on the killing and why it took place, but authorities said Monday they don’t expect other people to be arrested in the case.

Memorial services for Lric Elkins will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 9 at Wilks Funeral Home. 211 West Chubbuck Road in Chubbuck.
