Challenge helps Idahoans kick unhealthy habit

The Portneuf Health Trust kicked off their Smoke Free Challenge through their Chamber Wellness Program.

The program helps members of the Pocatello-Chubbuck Chamber of Commerce live healthier lifestyles.

For every day you don’t smoke, you get a point. You also get a point for reading smoke-free blog posts and doing other smoke-free-related things.

“It can be a letter to the editor, it can be asking your boss to put up signs in your company to not smoke on campus or on your property, that kind of stuff,” said Suzanne Riley, Portneuf Health Trust’s operations manager.

Anyone outside the Chamber can sign up for the challenge as an individual. If you get 30 or more points, you get a Gate City Grays ticket for July 18.
