Rigby police seek missing man

Rigby Police are seeking a missing 82-year-old man with Alzheimer’s Disease.

Boyd Summers was last seen wearing striped navy blue or burgundy pajama pants, and an LDS garment top. Police said he may also be wearing a button-down shirt.

Police said the man may possibly barefoot and has problems with falling. He is 5′ 11″ tall and weighs about 170 pounds.

Police said Summers appears to have walked away from his own home on Autumnwood Drive sometime between 1 a.m. and 8 a.m. Wednesday.

Police, Jefferson County sheriff deputies, firemen, and volunteers were organizing an extensive search effort. Approximately seven search parties were formed.
