Police respond to crash on Bonneville Drive and 1st Street

Idaho Falls Police are investigating a crash that took place near Bonneville Drive and 1st Street where at least 4 people were injured.

According to police, a Dodge Ram truck was backing out of a driveway and starting down 1st Street heading east and a Ford Mustang was coming towards it heading west on 1st. Police say the truck lost control and hit the Mustang. 3 people in the Mustang were injured and 1 person in the truck was also injured. All four were taken to Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center for treatment but police did not have a condition on any of the crash victims.

Police are investigating the cause of why the truck lost control and have not ruled out drug or alcohol as contributing factors.
