Toys needed for toy drive for children of Northern California fires

Brigham Young University-Idaho choir students are holding a Christmas toy drive for victim children of the Northern California fires.

“Santa in Santa Rosa” is running from now to December 15, and choir student Cody Chandler asks you donate new, unwrapped gifts for ages from 0-18 at one of the donation boxes in the area.

There are donation boxes at the Broulims stores in Montpelier, Soda Springs, Shelley, Ammon, Rigby, Rexburg, St. Anthony and Driggs, as well as the Albertsons store in Rexburg.

Chandler said their goal is to gather toys for 2,300 children who have been affected by the fires in Northern California.

On December 18, the group will drive the toys down to Santa Rosa and deliver the toys to their partner the Marine Corps League local to Santa Rosa who will be distributing the toys. Their goal is three gifts per child, which is right near 7,000 gifts.
