New Bonneville High School principal named

The Bonneville School District school board recommended and approved the new principal of Bonneville High School Wednesday night.

Assistant Principal Levi Owen will be taking over for Principal Heath Jackson.

“Bonneville High School, I think, is still one of the premier schools in the state and will continue to be so,” Owen said. “I am excited about the opportunity to engage with parents at a deeper level, their involvement in the school, and help their kids receive the education they need.”

Owen graduated from Brigham Young University-Idaho with a degree in English Education Composite and has been the assistant principal at Bonneville for the past six years.

“I look forward to working with other principals in the area,” Owen said.

Principal Jackson has been the principal at Bonneville High School since 2013 and will be starting a new district position of Director of Human Resources beginning July 1, 2019.
