Saints energized by post-Ida ‘domecoming’ vs. NY Giants

NEW ORLEANS (AP) — Giants coach Joe Judge says he expects a tough game against a good Saints team in “one of the greatest atmospheres” his club has ever encountered. The Saints have returned to team headquarters this week from a nearly one-month displacement to the Dallas area caused by Hurricane Ida. They’ve had minor distractions while settling back into their homes, but say they’re excited to be back. Saints quarterback Jameis Winston says he eagerly awaits the chance to finally play in front of a true home crowd in the Superdome after previously experiencing the challenge of playing there as a rival.
