IDAHO FALLS, Idaho (KIFI) - Here's a rundown of some new stories this morning you should know.:
- Idaho Falls School District 91 is trying to figure out next year's budget and is asking for the public's help.
Over fifty people piled into the cafeteria at Taylorview Middle School Monday night to discuss what should be cut from the budget. The previous budget went over by nearly four million dollars due to salaries and transportation.
The district will hold another public meeting at Skyline High School on March 27.
Click here for the full story. - The third annual Bengal Giving Day begins at 9 am this morning at Idaho State University.
The 1,901-minute campaign celebrates Idaho State University's beginnings in 1901. The goal is to raise money for current and future Bengals.
Bengal Giving Day runs until 4:41 p.m. tomorrow.
Click here for the full story. - The Idaho Transportation Department is hosting an open house tonight to get comments on a proposed widening of State Highway 39 in Blackfoot.
Plans include adding a continuous center turn lane from near Thomas Road to Collins Siding Road.
A signal and turn lanes will be installed at the intersection of Collins Siding Road.
The project is expected to begin in 2027.
