POCATELLO, Idaho (KIFI) — Pocatello Police and the Pocatello/Chubbuck School District say threats targeted toward Irving Middle School are resolved.

Pocatello Police reported Friday that they learned of several incidents involving statements or communications that could have been threats toward the school over the past couple of days. After investigating the incidents, they determined there was no threat to the school. They said they identified the individual involved and took appropriate action.

"The Pocatello Police Department and Pocatello/Chubbuck School District 25 thank the students, parents, school staff, and community members who bring these concerns to our attention," the police department commented in a news release. "We encourage everyone to continue reporting any statements, messages, or behaviors that may indicate a potential threat, regardless of how minor they may initially appear. Reporting these concerns allows law enforcement and school officials to investigate and take appropriate action."

No other details were given about the incidents.
