POCATELLO, Idaho (KIFI) - Redemption is on the minds of the Highland Rams this week, as they try to erase the memory of last year's loss in the 5A quarterfinals Friday night against the Owyhee Storm.

Despite earning a bye after winning the district championship last season, Highland fell in its first playoff game 30-24 against Mountain View ending the Rams' season abruptly.

364 days later, in the exact same scenario with a different opponent, Highland tries to redeem that loss with a big win and a spot in the 5A semifinals.

Kickoff Friday night is at 5:30 p.m. inside Holt Arena, and we will have highlights from this game and much more on Sports Line Friday Night, during Local News 8 at 10.
