Idaho Falls Woman Collides With Semi

The Idaho State Police investigated a deadly crash involving a motorcycle and semi truck on U.S. 26, just east of Richfield on Saturday afternoon.

43-year-old Jan Boline of Idaho Falls was traveling westbound on a 2003 black Harley Davidson motorcycle when she lost control, crossed into the opposite lane of travel and collided with a semi. 46-year-old Goran Mandura of Twin Falls, who was traveling eastbound in a 2007 Freightliner, tried to avoid the motorcycle but was unable to do so, police said.

Boline, who was not wearing a helmet, was pronounced dead upon impact. It is unknown if any other factors contributed to the crash. Lincoln County deputies and emergency personnel were on scene to assist with the crash. The crash is still under investigation.
