Lineup At Eastern Idaho State Fair Announced
The Eastern Idaho State Fair announced its big shows and plans for 2012 on Wednesday.
Fairgoers this year will see lower ticket prices and a two-for-one rock concert featuring Three Dog Night and Heart for $38. (See Heart perform below.)
Two rodeo events and the usual favorites like the demolition derby and the tractor pulls are back. A new addition is a shark tank exhibit.
This year?s them is the ?Barnyard Birthday Bash.?
?Our Barnyard Birthday Bash is a celebration of about 110 years of history at the fair,? said fair general manager Brandon Bird. ?We are east Idaho’s largest and longest running community event, and it?s built on the lives and the history of people who have done great things for the fair, and we want to celebrate that with a great big birthday party.?
Tickets go on sale for the VIPs on June 18 and 19, and for everyone else June 20. You can get your tickets at funatthefair.com or at the fair office. The fair will be held from Sept. 1 to 8.
