Pocatello Man Accused Of Kidnapping
A Pocatello man is facing kidnapping and assault charges after an incident Wednesday night.
Police said Andres Mendez, 28, used a weapon to force another person to go from an apartment at 1066 Yellowstone to another location.
Police did not specify the gender of the victim, who was able to escape and notify them.
Mendez was arrested at 6:30 a.m. Thursday in Inkom on charges of second-degree kidnapping and aggravated assault.
