Police: 9 South Fremont students sell pot

Following several months of undercover investigation, the Fremont County Sheriff’s Office and St. Anthony Police Department busted nine people on felony drug charges at South Fremont High School on Tuesday.

Sheriff Len Humphries said two adults were arrested, and seven minors were served detention orders. All were students at South Fremont High School.

The adults were identified as Antonio Hernandez and Jakob Torres, both 18, and were being held in the Fremont County Jail. The minors were being held at the 5C Juvenile Detention Facility in St. Anthony.

Humphries said all were involved in selling small quantities of marijuana. He said the drug deals monitored in the investigation did not occur on school grounds.
