Another charge filed against former hospital IT director

The Idaho Attorney General’s office has formally filed a charge of felony grand theft against former Bingham Memorial Hospital IT Director Jack York.

He is accused of wrongfully taking computer equipment belonging to Bingham Memorial Hospital that was valued more than $1,000. A preliminary hearing will be held in December.

York already faces three felony charges of interception of wire or oral communications while employed by the hospital. Judge David Nye entered a not-guilty plea on his behalf in June. In that case, York is accused of setting up devices to record Dr. Robert Rosin’s office at the hospital from June 2009 to August 2010. Also indicted on wiretapping charges was hospital CEO Louis Kraml, but those were reduced in a plea deal to stalking, to which Kraml entered an Alford plea.

York’s next appearance on the wiretapping charges will be in January.
