Man goes to prison after having sex with teens

A man accused of having sexual relations with teenage girls is going to prison.

Madsen, who was 57 at the time of his arrest in March, was accused of having sexual relations with two 14-year-old girls for seven months, Idaho Falls police said.

As part of a plea deal, Viggo Robert Madsen pleaded guilty to lewd conduct with a child under 16 and child exploitation, according to court records. On Thursday, Madsen was sentenced to at least five years in prison with a maximum sentence of 15 years. He will also have to pay his victims restitution, the amount of which is to be determined.
