Man arrested in Lava Hot Springs stabbing

A man has been arrested in Tuesday night’s stabbing in Lava Hot Springs.

The Bannock County Sheriff’s Office said Wednesday that they arrested Cameron Hattendorf.

One man is recovering in a local hospital after being stabbed in Lava Hot Springs in Tuesday night’s incident.

The stabbing took place at Bristol Park around 8 p.m. on the east side of town.

The stabbing victim was transported by helicopter to Portneuf Medical Center in Pocatello.

Bannock County Sheriff Lorin Nielsen said a knife was recovered by deputies.

It is unknown how many people were involved in the incident, or what exactly transpired that led to the stabbing.
