Theme for this year’s relay: Heroes for a Cure

The Relay for Life kicked off in Pocatello, sporting superheroes all over the place. With this year’s theme, ‘Heroes for a Cure,’ Relay for Life is hoping to tell people they can save lives, just like any superhero. All money raised goes to the American Cancer Society.

“A lot of people don’t know this,” said Team Development Chair Anthony Nelson,”but things like the pap smear, and all of those recent developments that have come out for cancer screening have been funded by the American Cancer Society in partnership with other researchers.”
