Missing Malad man is found

A 74-year-old Malad man, missing since Saturday morning, was located at 2 a.m. Monday in American Fork, Utah. Oneida County Sheriff Jeff Semrad said Wayne Waddopups was taken to a hospital.

Semrad said Waddaups was disoriented, but otherwise alright.

His family has been notified.

Original Story: The Oneida County Sheriff’s office is asking the public for help in locating Wayne Bud Waddoups.

Wayne was last seen in Malad on Saturday morning when he left his residence to travel to Preston or Ovid.

He is driving a 2002 Chevrolet white pickup. The Idaho license plate reads A1PE .

Wayne is 74-years-old and has some memory loss and may have become disoriented. He also has poor circulation and cannot walk far. He has missed two of his scheduled medications.

Anyone who has information or sees Wayne is asked to call the Oneida County Sheriff’s office at 208-766-2251 or contact your local law enforcement agency.
