Power back up in eastern Idaho
Power has been restored to customers after eastern Idaho saw multiple power outages Tuesday.
The Idaho Falls, Iona, Ririe, Ammon, Malad, Preston, Dayton, Swanlake and Downey areas were all without power at various times Tuesday afternoon and evening. About 3,000 power customers were affected.
High winds were a factor.
On Tuesday afternoon, a lineman told Local News 8 that 10 or 15 power poles were down in the US 20 corridor between Rexburg and Rigby on Tuesday afternoon.
