Blackfoot man suspected of sexually abusing children
A Blackfoot man was arrested on suspicion of lewd conduct and sexual abuse of a child under 16.
Idaho Falls police said Joseph D. Fisher, 43, was arrested on a warrant Thursday by the Bingham County Sheriff’s Office, and was transferred to the Bonneville County Jail on Friday.
Police alerted media to the case Monday.
Idaho Falls police began an investigation March 30 in which Fisher was accused of inappropriately touching an 11-year-old girl and a 9-year-old girl.
One of the girls’ mother told police about the incidents, which she said occurred on the 600 block of Tendoy on March 22 and March 29.
