Here’s what’s planned for Independence Day celebrations around eastern Idaho and western Wyoming. Friday, July 4 Ashton Rotary breakfast, 7:30 a.m. to 9 a.m., City Park. Parade, 10 a.m., Main Street. Flag ceremony, entertainment, car show, 11 a.m.
Henry’s Fork Farmer’s Market, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. , 204 Main Street
Fireworks, North Fremont High School, 10 p.m. Blackfoot Live music, 7 to 10 p.m., Jensen’s Grove, with flag ceremony and fireworks at dusk.
Challis Parade, noon, Main Street.
Free Picnic in the Park, 1 p.m. to 3 p.m., City Park.

Driggs Teton Valley Balloon Rally morning flights, 6 to 8:30 a.m., Teton County Fairgrounds.
Firth Flag-raising ceremony and breakfast, 8 a.m., City Park. Island Park Fireworks, at dark, Lakeside Lodge.
Idaho Falls 9th Annual FireKracker 5K, 7 a.m., northeast corner of Tautphaus Park.
Independence Day Parade, 9 a.m. Parade will proceed west on Fourth from Holmes, turn south on Boulevard and end at Tautphaus Park. Liberty Festival on the Falls, noon to 10 p.m., Idaho Falls Greenbelt.
Melaleuca Freedom Celebration, 10 p.m., Idaho Falls Greenbelt.
Jackson, Wyo. Jackson Hole Jaycees Pancake Breakfast, 7 to 10:30 a.m., Center Street.
Howdy Pardners Fourth of July Parade, 10:30 a.m. The parade begins on Snow King Avenue from the Rodeo Grounds to Glenwood, continues on Broadway and ends on Willow Street.
Rodeo, 8 p.m., Teton County Fairgrounds.
Fireworks, 10 p.m., base of Snow King Mountain.
Malad Malad Valley Sesquicentennial Celebration, 6 to 10 p.m. Fireworks at 10 p.m. at fairgrounds.
Menan Breakfast, 8 a.m. to 10 a.m., City Park.
Entertainment, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., City Park.
Parade, 2 p.m., Main Street.
Fireworks, dusk, City Park.
Pocatello Biggest Show in Idaho, Bannock County Fairgrounds. Fireworks at 10 p.m.
Greenway Grind in Living Colour, 8 a.m., Raymond Park.
Rigby Lions Club Breakfast, 7 a.m. to 10 a.m., City Park
Rexburg Liberty Run, Nature Park. Check-in at 6:30 a.m. Race starts at 8 a.m.
Kiwanis Club Breakfast, 7 a.m. to 10 p.m., corner of Main and Center.
Main Street Mile Run, 8:30 to 10 :30 a.m. Sign up in front of courthouse at 8:30.
Flag-raising ceremony, 9:30 to 10 a.m., Veteran’s Memorial in Smith Park. Independence Day in Porter Park, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Parade, 10 a.m., Main Street.
Rodeo, 7 to 10 p.m., Madison County Fairgrounds. Salmon Salmon River Days Parade, 11 a.m., Main Street. Fireworks, dusk.
Soda Springs Dragon Fyre Medieval & Renaissance Faire, Kelly Park.
Greatest 4th of July Fireworks Show Around, 6 to 10 p.m., Kelly Park. Fireworks start at dusk. Stanley Fourth of July Parade, 5:30 p.m., Stanley City Center. Fireworks begin at dark at Pioneer Park. Swan Valley 2014 Bulls and Bombs, Swan Valley Rodeo Grounds. Mini-bull riding at 11 a.m. Fireworks at dark.
Terreton VFW flag-raising ceremony, program and breakfast, 7 a.m.,Mud Lake Fairgrounds. Cost of breakfast is by donation sponsored by the Mud Lake Historical Society & Museum. Teton Village, Wyo. Fireworks, 10 p.m., base of the Tetons.
Ucon Fourth of July Fireman’s Breakfast, Ucon Park, 7 to 10 a.m. Cost is $5 per person or $20 per family.
Victor Parade, 10:30 a.m., Main Street.
2nd Annual Candlestick Glow & Block Party, 7 to 10 p.m., downtown Victor.
