Rexburg flooding cleanup continues

Rexburg is still cleaning up after last week’s flash flood. Paul Davis Restoration is helping the city recover by donating $25,000 to people who need it.

Twenty-five business and home owners whose property was damaged by the flood will each get $1,000 worth of work by the company. The donation can go toward inspection and drying costs, but demolition work is not included.

The company said the donation is for people who have serious damage.

“Things can get missed and we want to help the community stay in a good place, to have good homes to live (in) and good businesses to be part of and be in. We made this donation and are doing this work to help things get done right and to help the families that need it,” said Josh Aikele, project manager.

The company has gone through about half the funds. If you need some help, contact their office at 208-522-7374.
