2 arrested on drug, firearm charges
Two people were being held in the Bannock County Jail on firearm and drug charges after a routine traffic stop Sunday.
Pocatello police said Eric Gene Perkins, 28, and Danay Jene Riggs, 21, were pulled over in the 3500 block of South Bannock at around 4:45 p.m. Police recovered a .380 SIG Sauer handgun reported stolen in West Valley, Utah, 138 doses of Oxycontin and 10 tablets of another prescription medication.
Both face theft of firearm charges and additional charges of possession, manufacture and delivery of a controlled substance.
