Health provider offers free screenings to veterans

In celebration of Memorial Day, a Pocatello health provider offered free screenings to local veterans this week.

Safeguard offered the screenings Wednesday in Idaho Falls and Thursday in Pocatello.

They screened for heart attacks, strokes, osteoporosis and diabetes. Safeguard said these services would normally cost up to $1,000.

If you missed this week’s screenings, Safeguard said veterans can still schedule one by calling 589-8039.
