Two injured in rollover crash

Two people were hospitalized after a single-vehicle rollover crash early Wednesday morning.

Idaho State Police investigated the crash around 2 a.m. on eastbound U.S. 26 at milepost 292, 13 miles west of Blackfoot.

Authorities said Devany Orr, 26, of Arco, was driving west in a 2001 Ford Focus. The car went off the right shoulder, then back onto the road and rolled, coming to rest on its wheels in the travel lane.

Orr was thrown from the vehicle.

Her passenger, Steven McKenzie, 29, of Moore, remained inside the car.

Neither was wearing a seat belt, ISP said.

Orr was taken to the Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center by air ambulance. McKenzie was taken to the same hospital by ground ambulance.

Both lanes were blocked for about three hours.The crash is under investigation by Idaho State Police.
