Blackfoot Pride Days kicks off
Nothing like a little family feud out on the lake, but this family isn’t here to fight.
“There you go, go put it in the water” said Tim Rainsdon, a Blackfoot resident at the grove.
They’re here to fish.
“I brought my father in law from Texas and my sister and brother in law from Texas too” said Rainsdon.
A family reunion just in time for Blackfoot pride days andthis family means business.
Walking a way with three fish, and training the future experts.
“Everyday when you go fishing you don’t know what kind of bait,”said Aden Perry, a young fisherman out today.
“What’s your favorite kind of bait?”
“Pizza!” said Perry.
They may have some more learning to do, but they reeled in quite the catch today.
“We had a family reunion and we wanted to go fishing, so free fish day!” said Tim Rainsdon, a Blackfoot fisherman.
Free fish day is just one part of the fun here in Blackfoot this weekend.
There are all sorts of activities in the city, but these guys, they’re focused on the fish.
Dinner and an exciting day on the lake for these guys and they still have quite the day ahead of them.
“Go to the jumpy house, hang out, and play with my friends that are gonna come over,” said Perry.
A very exciting day for them, and a really great way to spend a family reunion at pride days, and that’s just the beginning of some of the fun in Blackfoot.
Pride days will end Saturday at Jensen’s Grove with some dance and music groups at 4 p.m., for a full schedule of the event click here.
