Karole Honas
Karole was born and raised in Gooding, Idaho. She attended the University of Idaho and graduated with a B.A in Radio/TV .
Shortly following her marriage to Ken Honas, she began her career in television in 1977 at KPVI Ch 6 in Pocatello. Karole worked full time for the fledgling station until 1983, where she stayed home a few years raising three sons.
In 1990, KIFI Local News 8 called her, and asked her to fill in for an anchor for a few weeks.
She never left, and in 2015, celebrated her 25th year with the station. She was recently inducted into the Silver Circle of the National Academy of Television, Arts, and Sciences.
