Shelley man killed by train in Power County

Idaho State Police have confirmed a Shelley man was struck and killed by a train Wednesday afternoon in Power County.

It happened at 2:04 p.m. on Arbon Valley Highway near the Bannock Peak Casino.

Robert Hall, 21, was walking westbound on the train tracks when he was struck by a westbound train, ISP said.

Arbon Valley Highway was blocked for almost three hours, but is now back open.

An investigation is ongoing.
