Pocatello Zoo debuts new turkey vulture
Happy International Vulture Day. The Pocatello Zoo is celebrating by opening up their brand new exhibit.
They are introducing Beaky Buzzard, the name was inspired by the Looney Tunes Cartoon. The turkey vulture made it’s way from Georgia to the Pocatello Zoo.
Many zoo goers are stopping by the exhibit to get a look at him.
“The right wing and he is only partially flighted, Horus the other turkey vulture, broke his left wing and he in only flighted. So once again to go along with every animal we have here at the zoo, these two guys could not thrive in the wild on her own,” said Peter Pruett. the zoo superintendent.
