New high school for District 93 will be on November ballot

Bonneville county voters will see a new high school on the November ballot.

The ballot will have two tiers.

One will have the proposed $55.3 million necessary to build a new high school.

The second will have an $8.2 million bond to build a new auditorium and football stadium.

If the high school passes by itself, it will cost taxpayers who own a $100,000 home $1.75 a month for the next 17 and half years.

If the high school, auditorium and football stadium passes, it will cost property owners $2.92 a month for 17 and half years.

The school board reached this price by taking out $3 million of the contingency fund.

The proposal will be submitted to the elections office on Sept. 14.
