One woman dies in rollover accident on I-15 at Exit 80

At just after 9 a.m. Thursday morning Idaho State police responded to a one vehicle accident at exit 80 on southbound I-15.

Michaela Earley, 21, of Idaho Falls, was northbound on I-15 in a 1999 Subaru Legacy. The Subaru went off the left shoulder of the road, rolled, and came to rest against the guardrail in the southbound lanes. Earley was not wearing her seatbelt and was ejected from the vehicle. Earley died as a result of her injuries at the crash site.

A detour was set up to reroute traffic around the accident but the accident has been cleared and southbound I-15 is open for traffic again.

Both southbound lanes were blocked for approximately two-and-a-half hours.
