Angelina Dixson
Angelina is thrilled to join Local News 8 and KIDK Eyewitness News after her previous job in Las Vegas! She graduated from UNLV in 2012 with a B.A. in Journalism and Media Studies.
Angelina is no stranger to the foundations of reporting. She started as an intern in 2012 at News 3, became a news editor in 2013 at 8 News NOW, and then an Associate Producer at FOX5 in Las Vegas.
Just before her pursuit to become a reporter, she joined the U.S. Coast Guard in 2006 and served there until 2008. It wasn’t until after the military that her journalism path finally took off in the news industry.
In her free time, Angelina loves to spend time near the ocean whenever possible and spend time in her hometown San Diego. She also loves to workout and drive her race red GT Mustang named “Kitana.”
