Missing Pocatello veteran found

UPDATE: Missing Pocatello veteran Gregory Brower was located Sunday night in his truck in Cave Falls.

Brower’s truck was located around 10 p.m. Sunday, according to Gregory’s daughter, Lacey Brower. It was found through different tips she received.

She said she called the Fremont County Sheriff Office dispatch as soon as she heard the news.

Gregory Brower had been missing since Thursday and family and friends started an organized search effort to find him Saturday. After finding no traces of him anywhere between Pocatello to McCammon, the search effort moved more north toward Rigby and Island Park.

Original Story:

Family and friends of Gregory Brower gathered at Constitution Park Saturday to start a search and rescue effort to find the missing man.

Brower, a Marine and National Guard veteran, was last heard from around 5 a.m. on Thursday when he and his girlfriend were talking on the phone, according to his daughter Lacey Brower.

Family began to look for him later that night when they found his cell phone, wallet and his dog Max still at his house. Only his truck was missing.

Lacey Brower is concerned because her father suffers from PTSD.

“He is an alcoholic, he has had some trouble in the past with his alcoholism,” she said. “We are just very worried about his mindset.”

Right now search efforts are focusing on finding Gregory Brower’s truck, a 2007 maroon Chevy Colorado.

If anyone has any information on Gregory Brower’s wherabouts, Lacey Brower asks to contact her directly at 208-406-2270.
