Victory for a former detective
It’s a victory for a former Madison County Sheriff’s office detective who said his constitutional rights were violated when he was fired from his job in 20-12.
This week a federal jury ruled on behalf of Travis Williams. The lawsuit claimed his freedom of speech and due process was denied when he was terminated from his position.
Williams at this point said he is pleased with the victory.
However, Madison County is considering filing an appeal of the decision.
