Optometrist to hold food drive

Twenty percent off 600 brands of eye glasses; you can score that deal in Blackfoot by donating canned food.

Complete Family Eye Care’s annual “Style Show” is Nov.13 at their office in Blackfoot, and this year they’re pairing up with a food drive. Each can of food earns 1 percent off any purchase, up to 20 percent. The canned goods will go to the South Eastern Idaho Community Action Group to feed those in need.

Dr. Cody Jones, of Complete Family Eye Care, said, “I think any time you can do something that will give back to the community or just the people, especially this time of year, I think it’s a good thing. Any time we contribute to that it’s a positive.”
