United pilots give out teddy bears at EIRMC

Some of the pilots for United Airlines are taking a day from flying the skies to stop at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center and spread smiles to sick children.

This is all part of United’s Adventure Bear Program, an annual initiative where United employees and customers make charitable contributions that go to help children and their families during health struggles or economic hardship. United collaborated with GUND to design the limited-edition Adventure Bear, this year named “Rhonda Globe,” which serves as the program’s ambassador.

Hundreds of United employees, customers and community partners volunteer to participate in the Adventure Bear Program and will personally deliver more than 4,200 Adventure Bears by mid-February to children at hospitals around the world.
