Rexburg man arrested for statutory rape and sexual battery of a minor

Madison County Sheriff’s Office and the Rexburg Police Department have arrested a Rexburg man on two counts of statutory rape and one count of sexual battery of a minor.

24-year-old Josie Isaac Turcios was arrested on November 10th for two counts of statutory rape and one count of sexual battery of a minor. An official with the Madison County Sheriff’s office says Turcios is accused of raping a teenage employee who worked at a local fast food restaurant where Turcios was a supervisor.

Turcios is being held at the Madison County Jail with a $200,000 bond.

Madison County Sheriff’s Office and the Rexburg Police Department are performing a joint investigation of the crime.
