TEDx coming to Rexburg

The popular TED talks will becoming to Rexburg when the locally organized TEDxRexburg is held on December 5, 2015.

The independently organized event, licensed by TED, will feature local voices and TED Talks videos under the theme of The Quest for Excellence.

TEDxRexburg will be highlighting ideas worth spreading from local Rexburg residents. The community has rallied behind this with a planning board and local organizations helping to make the event possible.

Event planner and local BYU-Idaho student, Cira Fear has said this about the event, “TEDxRexburg is a unique opportunity for people in our area to come together, be inspired and then take what they have learned and share it with others. I am a firm believer that everyone has a story to tell and we hope through future events that many more people will be giving the opportunity to do so with this platform.”

Launched in 2009, TEDx is program of locally organized events that bring the community together to share a TED-like experience. Some of the best talks from TEDx events have gone on to be featured on TED.com and garnered millions of views from audiences across the globe.
