Press Box Sports Bar preps for big game

Sunday’s big game has the nation in party-prep mode. The Press Box Sports Bar in Pocatello has just that going on from prize giveaways to tasty menu specialties. Many customers Saturday are gearing up and even predicting who will win the Super Bowl.

“I think it’s going to be a real tight game, but I think Denver’s defense is going to win it for them,” said Bob Bergeman.

“Carolina will win it. Although, since this is Peyton Manning’s last game, I’d like the Broncos to win, but I know in my mind, Carolina’s got it,” said Manager Bartender Greg Smith.

The bar brings a comfortable, warm feel – a relief from the cold weather outside. Aromas of lunch fill the air with golden drafts of beer all around.

And even if people won’t be hitting up the bars, they have special Super Bowl plans in place.

“I’ll be here for a while. I have a couple parties to go to, but I’ll shift around a little bit,” said Bergeman.

“You know what, I’m gonna cook me a turkey dinner and watch the game,” said Mike Rivera.
