Idaho Falls man arrested for stealing from storage units

The Bonneville County Sheriff’s Office has arrested Spencer A. Wagner for burglary and two felony counts of possession of a controlled substance.

Deputies with the sheriff’s office responded to Ammon Storage on 243 North Ammon Road after management for the storage company discovered that 2 units had been broken into.

According to the sheriff’s office approximately $15,000 in tools and other items were missing from the storage units. While investigating the crime scene deputies found evidence which led them to Wagner’s residence on Rowland Street in Idaho Falls. Further evidence found at the home enabled the deputies to obtain a warrant to search the premises.

Deputies located the property missing from the storage units along with approximately 1.1 grams of cocaine and 1.3 grams of methamphetamine.

Wagner was taken into custody at that time and booked into the Bonneville County Jail.
