Woman killed in Bingham County crash
One woman was killed when her blue Suburban went off Highway 91 at 512 North in Bingham County at around 7:05 p.m. Tuesday.
Bingham County Sheriff Craig Rowland identified the driver as 26-year-old Mysty Marie McCormack. She was pronounced dead at the scene. She was not wearing a seat belt.
According to deputies, the vehicle was traveling north on Highway 91 when it went off the right side of the road. The driver over-corrected, going off the left side of the road and into a ditch where it struck a fence and a power pole.
The highway was closed for about three and a half hours. Investigation of the crash is continuing.
A GoFundMe page has been set up to help McCormack’s family deal with funeral costs and childcare. McCormack was the mother of three and married to Jordan Johnson.
