Two men arrested for rape in Madison County
Two 20-year-old Madison County men were arrested Friday for the sexual assault of two 16-year-old girls March 31.
Thor Fitzgerald Ware and Jose Guadalupe Nevarrez-Portillo were accused of forcing the girls into sex acts at a trailer in Sugar City.
According to the Madison County Sheriff’s Office, one of the girls’ mother took her daughter to a hospital after the incident and contacted the sheriff’s office to report it.
Warr claimed the sexual activity was consensual.
He was charged with felony rape.
Nevarrez-Portillo was charged with two counts of forcible sexual penetration.
Both men were being held in the Madison County Jail on $200,000 bond.
The investigation is continuing.
