Two men arrested for stealing cattle in Bingham County

Two men have been arrested for stealing over $19,000 in livestock in Bingham County.

The Bingham County Sheriff’s office, Blackfoot Police Department, and State Brand inspectors teamed up to investigate thecase.

On April 7th, the State Brand inspectors had found some stolen cattle and asked for assistance with interviewing suspects to see if more cattle were stolen. During the investigation, it was learned that 16 head of cattle were stolen from Chris Drakos from Blackfoot.

40-year-old Anselmo Lopez and 44-year-old Valentin Lopez both of Blackfoot were arrested on April 09, 2016 for theft of livestock. They were both booked into the Bingham County Jail.

The value of the livestock that was stolen is $19,200.
