Caution: Don’t pet the animals
People visiting Old Faithful on Saturday were surprised to see an unidentified woman go up to a bison and pets it.
The video shows the woman walking up and petting the animal on the head. The bison was laying down next the boardwalk at the time.
Brett Johnson of St. Anthony captured the event on his phone.
It’s not something rangers would approve of. If the woman was injured, she could have been fined and held responsible for the incident.
Again, you should never try to pet any wild animal.
