Mountain View donations gifted
Zions Bank presented over $150,000 to Mountain View hospital, and in turn the hospital gave the money away to charity.
The money was generated by the hospital’s use of a Zions Bank Commerical Card last year.
“They earn a rebate percentage based on the card throughout the year, and so the hospital earned this money, well deserved, they earn a percentage back, and the total amount ended up being the amount that was donated today,” says Kyle Guest, Zions Bank Treasury Management Relations Manager.
The hospital immediately decided to donate the money to Mountain View Charity, and the charity already has plans to help a multitude of patients, students and community projects.
With their mutually beneficial relationship, the Idaho Falls-based hospital said the thought to donate their earnings to Mountian View Charity, was an easy one.
“What is unique in this case is the hospital chooses to donate that money to Charity. You know they can send their executives on vacation, they could throw parties, they could put it towards operating costs of the hospital, but instead they choose to donate that to charity,” said Guest.
The hospital has donated over $300,000 in commercial revenue to Mountain View Charity over the last year.
