Ft. Hall man killed in two-car crash
Anthony Jim Jr., 38, of Fort Hall was killed in a two vehicle crash at 10:49 p.m. Saturday. The crash happened on US-91 at the intersection of Ballard Road near Fort Hall.
Idaho State Police said Jim was traveling east on Ballard road in a Pontiac Grand Am. He failed to stop at a stop sign. Forrest Watkins, 56, of Pocatello was traveling southbound on US-91 in a Dodge Intrepid and struck Jim’s car in the intersection.
Watkins and a female passenger in Jim’s car were taken by ambulance to Portneuf Medical Center in Pocatello. Jim died at the scene. Watkins was the only one wearing a seat belt.
Both lanes of travel were blocked for about four hours.
