J.R. Simplot announces Don Plant management change
The J.R. Simplot Company has announced a change of management at its Don Plant in Pocatello. Communications Manager Ken Dey said plant manager John Bob and senior environmental manager Kirk Adkins are no longer with the company.
The company said the change was effective Monday, but would not comment further on the change.
Dey said Simplot is actively recruiting a new plant manager. In the interim, John Yanak will oversee day-to-day operations of the Don Plant. Yanak manages Simplot’s Lathrop and Helm, California operations.
Dey said the company looks forward to continuing its longstanding tradition of working with the Pocatello community.
